Join us for dinosaur fun at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. Artists ages 11-16 are welcome to sign up for a series of fun, dinosaur-themed art classes taught by Becky Barnes (NDGS) and Jessica Rockeman (SHSND). Classes are free and materials are provided. Plaster Casts June 8 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. Learn about prehistoric life of North Dakota and cast your own fossils in plaster. Take a tour of our paleontology lab while it dries. Sculpting June 15 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. Make and mold your own dinosaur head. Explore the tools and techniques to sculpt your own dinosaur. Puppets June 22 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. Create and keep your own dinosaur marionette. Draw Dinosaurs June 29 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. Draw a dinosaur, step-by-step. From scales to feathers, uncover what makes a raptor tick.
