This early dog roamed through the trees and was almost certainly not blue.
These little early dogs were one of the first to evolve some 40-ish million years ago in North America. They looked sort of like weasels. They liked living in Canada and much of United States, including North Dakota. To look at it's skull, which I do have a photograph of somewhere, it was probably an opportunistic eater. You can't be that picky when you're small and bitey.
